Exmoor Pony Project - Crowdfunding Appeal.
The Exmoor Pony Project is an informal, not-for-profit project - income from Exmoor ponies doesn't begin to cover the costs and from time to time, we need to crowdfund to keep it all going.
A particularly difficult time is coming into winter when the whole herd needs the best quality wormer, increased lorry loads of quality sea sand for the barn loafing areas, ad lib forage, supplements, footcare, veterinary care, equipment, repairs, feed and more help. We do make some of our own forage but if the project ponies eat it, we can't sell it - so it doesn't provide income. Last year, we had to buy a lot of it in. This crowdfunding appeal is specifically to help towards the increased costs we face coming into winter to maintain the Exmoor Pony Project and ensure the Exmoor ponies get everything they need.
