Piers Morgan had Israeli government spokesperson Avi Hyman squirming when he pressed for an answer on how many civilian deaths it was responsible for, despite also having exact figures for Hamas 'terrorists' it had killed.

Hyman blamed the "fog of war" for not having exact numbers of Palestinian civilians Israel has killed, instead referring Morgan to Hamas figures which he simultaneously rejected.

“That does imply you are putting a bigger premium on killing Hamas terrorists in terms of numbers and accountability than you are on innocent civilians. That can’t be right, surely?" Morgan asked

Tesla Autopilot probe: prosecutors focus on securities, wire fraud

US prosecutors are investigating whether Tesla committed securities or wire fraud by misleading investors and consumers about its electric vehicles’ self-driving capabilities.

While Tesla has warned drivers to stay ready to take over driving, the Justice Department is examining other statements by Tesla and Elon Musk suggesting its cars can drive themselves.

US regulators have separately investigated hundreds of crashes, including fatal ones, that have occurred in Teslas with Autopilot engaged, resulting in a mass recall by the automaker.

US, Philippines sink ship in large South China Sea exercise

Backed by Australian surveillance aircraft, the allied navies piled a barrage of rockets, artillery fire and airstrikes to sink the mock enemy warship on Wednesday, watched by officials and diplomats from several countries.

Over 16,000 personnel from 14 different countries are taking part in the mass exercises that began April 22 and will run till Friday, including a simulation of an invasion of the Philippines.

“We don’t have the wherewithal to be able to fight all of this bullying coming from China so where else will we go?” Philippine Ambassador to Washington Jose Romualdez said. “We went to the right party, which is the United States and those that believe in what the US is doing.”

A legislative committee rejected a bill Tuesday that would have added cases of rape and incest as exceptions to Louisiana’s abortion ban.

Currently, of the 14 states with abortion bans at all stages of pregnancy, six have exceptions in cases of rape and five have exceptions for incest.

In 2010, Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was experiencing memory loss and mental fogginess so severe that a friend grew concerned he might have a brain tumor. Mr. Kennedy said he consulted several of the country’s top neurologists.

Several doctors noticed a dark spot on the younger Mr. Kennedy’s brain scans and concluded that he had a tumor, he said in a 2012 deposition reviewed by The New York Times. Mr. Kennedy was immediately scheduled for a procedure at Duke. The doctor believed that the abnormality seen on his scans “was caused by a worm that got into my brain and ate a portion of it and then died,” Mr. Kennedy said in the deposition.
