Museum Staff are pleased to welcome visitors and offer a guided tour if requested.
Parking with toilets in adjacent car park. The Museum is situated next to a large car park.
The Bakehouse Centre was specially converted from a former bakehouse and two cottages to house today's Museum.
There is disabled access and a stair lift to the first floor with a folding wheelchair available.
A small shop with gifts, souvenirs and lots of local history booklets. (highly recommended).
Postal book service available. Limited local and family history research undertaken.
Facilities available, by appointment, for personal research plus Group bookings, Film shows, talks and quizzes.
Braunton Museum and Information Centre Shop.
The shop at the Braunton Museum and Information Centre has a large selection of books, booklets and DVDs for sale. We have local walking guides, local history booklets, war history DVDs and local interest books. There also is for sale a varied selection of 'Locally made Fabric Craft items' and Hand Knitted Baby garments, Original Paintings of local views, Souvenirs, Cards and Gifts of all sorts. You can purchase any of the items in the shop, by telephone or mail order.

Displays spanning the two world conflicts. The training that took place on Braunton Burrows in 1943-1944 was instrumental in the winning of the battle for Normandy.
